As a holder of Commercial Pilot certificate you can fly for compensation or hire. Commercial pilots may fly sightseeing flights, pipeline patrol flights or conduct flight instruction after obtaining a Flight Instructor Certificate.

The first step is to get your private pilot license. On the way to a commercial license you can also apply for a night or VFR Over-The-Top ratings. Both of these will help you build the time you need for the commecial license.
