David Derrick

David is the school's CFI and has hundreds of hours of multi-engine time. He also has the patience to teach you if you've never been in the air before.

Julian Pullara

Julian Pullara dreamed of being a pilot from a young age. He started in Sault Ste Marie where he received his private and commercial licence. and then gained his instrument and instructor ratings in London. Julian enjoys kayaking & mountain biking during his spare time and is a hockey referee during the winter months. Living locally Julian can match your schedule to his.

Trevor Gustafson

Trevor began his training in Burlington and later enrolled in college for aviation in the big city of Kitchener-Waterloo, where he earned his PPL, CPL, Instrument Rating, and Instructor Rating. Trevor was working as a skydive pilot before joining Kawartha Lakes Flight Centre as an instructor.

Jaimee

Jaimee Shoemaker started her training at the age of 12, but had to wait for her 14th birthday to meet the age requirement to fly solo. The Conestoga College Aviation program took her the rest of the way to become a flight instructor and now she's here at Kawartha Lakes Flight Centre to share her passion with you!

Kerry Vienneau

Peter Handley

Peter is our Director of Maintenance. He holds an M1 and M2 licence. As well as maintaining our commercial fleet of aircraft, Peter is also available to perform quality and timely maintenace on your plane. Whether an oil change, or an engine change, Peter is your man.
