Some of our proud Solos and Grads

It's not that nobody has soloed or passed a flight test at KLFC. In fact, we're quite proud of the percentage of our students that have written the Transport Canada exam or passed a flight test on the first attempt. It's just that we respect our student's privacy and we've not had anybody lately that has been willing to pose for a snap.

November 18, 2006 and Aart is on top of the world
Some families believe in doing things in order. Aart went solo first, and now that his dad Bill knows that it is safe, he will be next!

October 5, 2006 and Ken couldn't be happier at the moment
Wine is fine, but flying on a day like this, how can you go wrong?

Talking on the Radio
When you're a natural, it doesn't matter if you're talking on the radio at work or in the circuit, it's all a good time.

Well Done Jacob
First solo, Cessna 152. Next solo, Commander 115TC

And that's how you solo!
Bob might have had a rough time at his last flight school, but he didn't have a rough landing on July 4, 2006 at KLFC.

Phew!
June 17th was a memorable day for everybody there. Congratulations Dietmar! Guess what's next. More circuits!

Now I can fly home!
March 5th was a big day for Sven. He went solo for the second time. First as a glider pilot in Germany and again as a powered airplane pilot in Canada. Now Sven can fly himself back home to Germany when he is done his exchange student studies in Lindsay.

Yeah Charlotte
Charlotte went solo February 24, 2006. Mark is a pretty proud instructor. And, Charlotte is pretty happy about the whole thing too!

Denizen of the Air
The weather couldn't be better or the feeling any finer when Mike Dennsion took to the air solo on June 17, 2004.

Julian Flies!
Julian has a reason to be proud. Not only did he Solo on September 4, 2004, on a busy day in the circuit, but he did it in the plane that he just recently bought for himself!

Yeah Bill!
It was dark and it was gloomy on August 11, 2004, but a bright day for Bill when he went solo in C-GAIH.

Congratulations Jeff!
It was a cold and bitter day on January 10, 2004, but Jeff went solo and Tim had a cold walk back to the office.

Bravely posing for the camera after solo - May 26, 2003.

Congratulations John!
John couldn't have been happier on January 28, 2006. And neither could his instructor Nigel. Another proud graduate of KLFC.
